I haven't posted at all this week as I've been on a trip to Malaysia and Thailand. I'm a director of entellium, which has a web services-based suite of business application modules that it provides to enterprises and small businesses, either as a hosted offering or for installation. The company is based in Kuala Lumpur, and today marked the official customer launch of its operations in Thailand, held at a prestigious Bangkok hotel. As one of the speakers, I had the opportunity to present some new material on the impact of web services on business. I also had the pleasure of hearing Microsoft's web services strategy outlined in Thai, which I don't speak or understand. Nevertheless, the message is already familiar enough that somehow it still seemed to make perfect sense.
